Welcome to TheBassDealer, your favorite Lakland, Hofner and Kay Bass Shop. 

We're a division of Rock N Roll Vintage, an authorized Chicago Lakland, Hofner and Kay dealer selling new, vintage and used basses and guitars online and in our Chicago shop.  While we sell both the Skyline and US series basses our primary focus is on the Skyline series.  Skyline basses offer great quality, tone and shorter lead times. Here you'll be able to talk to players who are not only passionate about basses but who also play on a regular basis.  In addition to selling basses online we also have a real brick and mortar store on Chicago's North side (click here for a map).   We have a special affinity for Lakland bases as Lakland was founded in Chicago and we are located just 3 miles just from the Lakland factory.  International customers, we ship basses world wide. We overpack all international shipments so rest assured your bass will arrive safely.

So what's different about our shop ?   We're not one of those super stores, you will find we're knowledgeable friendly and easy to work with.   Rather than stock loads of Lakland, Hofner and Kay basses our philosophy is to stock popular basses and place factory orders for other instruments.  This allows us to provide the best possible discount prices.
