Lakland US Series 4 and 5 String Basses
Lakland offers a wide range of US series 4 and 5 string basses for all playing styles. Lakland US series basses are among the most well-built instruments on the market. The feel and look of Lakland's US Series basses is feel instantly familiar to anyone who is a fan of traditional aesthetic. But don't be fooled, each bass has a unique personality-drawing on the best aspects of classic basses and updating them with modern playability and construction that is second to none. They're able to emulate the tones of many popular basses but the Lakland 4 and 5 string basses maintain a tonal character all their own. The body design of the Lakland bass models allows for the use of almost any pickup on the market to achieve a wide variety of tones-as requested by customers. All Lakland 4-strings are 34" and 5 string basses use a 35" scale. Most US Series basses are custom built so there is often a lead time when purchasing these basses. The 44-94 was Lakland's first bass. This bass utilizes a split MM pickup in the bridge position and a single J style pickup at the neck. All coils are humbucking. Shown in Tobacco Sunburst. Available in a Lefty version.

The Lakland 44-64 Custom US series bass is a 64 Pbass style body, bound neck, block inlays and matching headstock. similar to the standard 44-64 body, features a narrower 1.5" tapered neck. Lefty version available.

The Lakland 44-60 Vintage J US series bass. A combination of 1960's style and modern technology. Offers a slim neck and narrow nut, offset-body balancing, and concentric control knobs. Alder or Swap Ash body, 2 Lakland single coil pickups an optional 3 band preamp.

The Lakland 44-AJ
